Oliver Gaisford-St. Lawrence is from an Irish racing family, and gained practical experience at studs in Ireland, Australia & USA before joining legendary Derby winning trainer Major Dick Hern.  He has been a Newmarket based bloodstock agent, with a growing reputation for buying good horses, since 1991.  Having gathered a global client base Oliver represents his clients at all the major thoroughbred sales in the Northern & Southern hemisphere.

Oliver’s principle purchases include KRYPTON FACTOR (2012 Golden Shaheen, Gr.1), 2010 Windsor Forest Stakes, Gr.2, heroine STRAWBERRYDAIQUIRI, CARRY ON KATIE (Cheveley Park Stakes, Gr.1 etc.), DARSALAM (Reinland-Pokal, Gr.1 etc.), MONSIEUR BOND (Duke Of York Stakes, Gr.2 etc.) and MUHANNAK (Breeders’ Cup Marathon, etc.). Many of Oliver’s purchases are on behalf of overseas clients and are exported to the Far East, Middle East, USA, Australasia and Middle Europe.
